For the first time in Australian DMC history, the audience will have a direct voice in shaping the outcome of the Championships.
How it will work :
The judges will first deliberate and select the Top 4 competitors. Only after this process is complete will a Viewers’ Choice finalist be determined, filling the fifth and final place in the National Finals.
This decision will be based on audience engagement—measured through organic video views and interactions—giving fans the unique opportunity to influence who earns that spot.
In the Open Category, DJs are celebrated as party rockers—masters at igniting the crowd and creating energy on the dancefloor. In the online environment, that same skill translates into the interactions and engagement you generate, which paint the picture of your impact.
Please note, this initiative applies exclusively to the Open Category, which was designed to showcase the energy, creativity, showmanship, and crowd engagement of Party Rockers.
