The road to the 2026 Australian DMC DJ Championships National Final is set.
DJs from across Australia entered the Open and Classic categories, with every elimination set assessed by our international judging panel. The highest-ranked competitors now advance to Sydney, where they will compete live for two Australian DMC titles and the opportunity to represent Australia at the DMC World Finals in London.
Judges: Total Eclipse (ITF World Champion, X-Ecutioners), I Dee (DMC Online World Champion) and Beast Mode (DMC Open World Champion).
Each judge independently ranked every competitor.
In the Open category, 10 points were awarded for first place, 9 for second and so on. In Classic, 5 points were awarded for first place through to 1 point for fifth.
The points from all three judges were then combined to determine the final rankings.
Where competitors finished on equal points, the tie was decided head-to-head, with the DJ ranked higher by the majority of judges taking the higher position.
Judging criteria: Technical Scratch, Technical Beat Juggle, Creativity, Musicality, Originality, Execution.

After two weeks of public support across the DMC Australia website and YouTube, Jonnie S has secured the AlphaTheta People’s Choice and a place in the 2026 Australian DMC National Final.
Jonnie finished with 60 out of a possible 63 points, ranking first in both website votes and YouTube views.
He now joins the highest-ranked Open competitors and defending finalist D Pak on the National Final stage in Sydney.

Each list is ranked 9 points down to 1, then weighted. Final reading taken at the close of voting, 11:59pm Saturday 19 September.
The AlphaTheta People’s Choice winner qualifies for the National Final. The judges’ four highest-ranked remaining DJs join them. If the People’s Choice winner is also in the judges’ top four, the judges’ next-highest ranked DJ takes that place.
The finalists are confirmed. Now the championship moves to the stage.
